What we collect
The guest form collects the name, email address, organization, role, optional ticker, topic or sector, requested format, story summary, requested recording dates, time window and any optional information the applicant supplies.
Why we use it
We use this information to assess the application, check subject fit, research the proposed topic, contact the applicant, schedule an accepted appearance and keep an operational record of the request. Submitting the guest form does not subscribe the applicant to a marketing newsletter.
Human verification
To protect the application form from automated submissions, the form-security service briefly processes the site origin, IP address, browser user-agent and slider movement timing to issue and validate a short-lived proof. Those signals are not added to the application record.
Where it is processed
The website is hosted by DreamHost. An application may be sent to the show's Google Workspace inbox and stored in a private server log outside the public web directory as a delivery backup. If an appearance proceeds, separately agreed recording services such as Riverside and publication platforms such as YouTube may process information under their own terms.
Saved form progress
The application saves unfinished form progress in the applicant's own browser using local storage. It is not transmitted until the form is submitted. The saved browser copy is cleared after submission and can also be removed by clearing site data in the browser.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell guest-application information. We may use service providers to host, secure, communicate about and produce the show. Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed to review the application, manage an accepted guest relationship, maintain records and meet legal obligations.
Access, correction and deletion
To ask what application information is held, correct it, withdraw an application or request deletion, email david@budleiser.com. Some information may be retained where reasonably required for security, recordkeeping or legal duties.
